I am the founder and owner of Sonda Yoga. I took her very first yoga class in 1999 and from that moment on fell in love with yoga.

Since then I have studied yoga both extensively and exclusively, completing my 200-hour teacher training in 2003, a 500-hour Teacher training in 2014, another second 500-hour training in 2015, and completed an additional 300-hour Teacher training in 2019. It’s safe to say I love to be a student. I teach Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa, Yin, and Meditation styles of Hatha yoga. My passion is teaching teachers and combining my love of yoga and travel. I have been running yoga retreats, (mostly outside of the United States), for the past 12 years. My retreats allow you to combine yoga with cultural experiences.

When I'm not practicing or teaching yoga I spend time with her husband, three wonderful daughters, grandson, and extended family.
